Understand the Business Environment
Each organization has its own challenges. We complete a comprehensive assessment of the current business environment. This includes planning activities associated with the organization’s business plan and other strategic planning activities.
Form a Multi-Disciplinary IT Strategic Planning Group
This group should be comprised of a significant number of representatives from patient care and business (Human Resources, Finance, Nursing, Ancillary Departments) and Information Technology.
Conduct Interviews
Supplement the information-gathering process with interviews of physicians, as well as management and administration staff.
