CPOE
CPOE, or Computerized Provider Order Entry, allows prescribers to place their medication, lab, treatment and other special orders for patients electronically at the point of care. The use of a well built CPOE system has shown improved quality of patient care and decreases in prescribing errors. With CPOE organizations have shown:
